How to Choose the Right Scaffolding System for Your Project

How to Choose the Right Scaffolding System for Your Project

Choosing a scaffolding system is a balance between purchase cost, erection labour and site conditions. This short guide summarises the differences between the three most common systems we export.

Ringlock scaffolding

Best for large, repetitive facades and industrial plants. The rosette connection allows eight components at any angle, erection is roughly twice as fast as coupler scaffolding, and fewer loose parts means less loss on site.

Cuplock scaffolding

A good middle ground. It is cheaper per tonne than ringlock, very strong under vertical load, and widely used for slab support and bridge works.

Traditional coupler scaffolding

The most flexible option and the cheapest to enter, but it needs skilled labour and significantly more man hours to erect. Suitable for irregular shapes and small projects.

If you send us your project drawings and site conditions, we will recommend the most cost effective configuration and prepare a full take-off list for you.
